Dr. Jennifer Miller-Bailey graduated in 2009 from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. After completing an internship in Equine Medicine & Surgery at the prestigious Peterson & Smith Equine Hospital in Ocala, FL, she then spent the next four and a half years practicing at an equine hospital in east TN. During that time, she pursued advanced training in both therapeutic podiatry and acupuncture.

Dr. Miller-Bailey has a strong interest in ailments of the equine foot. She has received advanced training with the world-renowned Dr. Ric Redden at The International Equine Podiatry Center in Versailles, KY where she learned about the tendon theory and mechanics, and how to apply these principles to a variety of pathologic conditions of the equine foot. She is also a long-time student of

Dr. Sammy Pittman of Innovative Equine Podiatry and Veterinary Services in Collinsville, TX.

Four Star Equine takes a unique approach to lameness and disorders of the foot by working closely as a team with local Farriers in order to achieve the most success for the life of the horse.

Dr. Miller-Bailey regularly attends educational conferences and wet labs to further knowledge and skills that maximize her ability to help her patients. These opportunities also help build a network of national and international colleagues with which to share education and experiences for the benefit of the horse.

Farrier

No one tries to help an equine with lameness more than Dr. Jennifer Miller-Bailey. Nobody takes more pride in seeing a horse take a sound step. I’ve had a lot of different Vets that I’ve worked with and under that don’t try near as hard as she does.”

Sally, Horse Owner

We met Dr. Jennifer Miller-Bailey in June of 2021. Our horse was diagnosed with PPID and laminitis. She was thorough, professional and very patient with all our many questions during his course of treatment. Because of the excellent care he received we are back on the trails! Thank you for helping us.”

Scott, Farrier

I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Miller-Bailey, one of the most knowledgeable Vets in this area, and she understands the horse's hoof more than anyone I have worked with, and with great success!!”
